Proton machine still down today, making it three days. Hopefully they can get it fixed ASAP.
The girls have been enjoying playing outside in this beautiful weather. Today, as Evy rode a little firetruck around the cul-de-sac, Stella used her IV pole as a scooter.
We read a book this morning that had popsicles in it and they became incredibly intrigued by the picture of them, so during their nap I ran out and got them some and we ate them on the front porch when they woke up. Well, Evy just kinda stuck her tongue on hers a few times, but she was terribly excited about it all the while.
Evy has to wear her little do rag when she is out in the sun, so for solidarity's sake Stella wore a knitted hat outside, too. Kinda funny to see her wearing a winter hat when it was so warm out. Soon she became hot and abandoned it, but hey, it's the thought that counts.
We were reading a book outside and the girls noticed their car seats in the garage. They are out of the car because we have a rental while we get our car fixed (minor accident when we first got here.) They insisted that they sit in the car seats on the lawn while I read them Mother Goose. Very cute.
Really hoping they get the machine up and working. Fingers crossed!
